Transport the hospital trolleys dedicated to the food, linen, waste, drug and consumable materials services, and to bring a cancer care particle accelerator directly into the ward.
Located at the heart of "Health Valley" on Lake Geneva, the The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of Switzerland’s 5 leading university hospitals and one of the top 15 in the world, according to the 2020 rankings produced by Newsweek magazine. The Hospital requested a fleet of 12 ECART model 5 to transport food, linen drugs, consumables and waste. Another Oppent mobile robot - more specifically an ECOBOT - was also requested to transport the linear accelerator for radiotherapy. The specific solution was designed and developed for the movement of 700 trolleys a day, allowing for the automated management of meals, linen, drugs, waste and consumables in the various departments of the hospital.
