Transport the hospital trolleys dedicated to catering, linen, waste, medicines and consumable and sterilisation materials between the various areas of the hospital, reducing the facility’s labour and services costs. Oppent was chosen to ensure high levels of quality while guaranteeing respect for delivery times, the integrity of the handled goods and the correct destination of the trolleys.
Opened in 2014, the Garbagnate Milanese Hospital in the Metropolitan City of Milan covers an area of 57,000 m2 for a total of 539 beds. The design and development of the hospital represented an interesting challenge for the local area, the high energy efficiency approach aimed at the creation of a cutting-edge facility. Oppent offered a fleet of 11 ECART with perfectly bidirectional kinematics implemented on a AISI304 steel chassis and PL-D safety laser sensors, able to generate horizontal and vertical observation plans and adjustable according to the speed and layout of the environment in which they are used. The vehicles meet the highest man-machine safety standards and are able to travel in natural navigation mode. The fleet performs the manoeuvres requested, respecting deadlines and travelling a total of 730 km a week, equal to 1000 working hours.
