Hospital of regional importance since 1996, the Hospital of Pordenone provides services and diagnosis, rehabilitation and treatment of acute diseases in all major specialties. Activities are carried out by 1,800 employees divided into 10 departments and 50 organizational structures which ensure more than 25,000 hospitalizations and over 2,000,000 outpatient services every year. Oppent’s Hospital Pneumatic Tube System, a pneumatic conveying system designed for automated handling of test tubes, blood bags, drugs and reports, contributes to increasing the level of the hospital’s services. The system consists of special stations designed to manage dispatches from laboratories and phlebotomy departments: stations can set and receive up to 3 carriers at a time, with consequent advantages in terms of efficiency: Turn Around Time is reduced up to 30%.
