Founded in 1970, the Group Acerinox is the world’s largest producer of stainless steel, with a crude steel capacity of 3,5 million tons. The production includes hot-rolled and cold-rolled products, both long and flat. Thanks to an extensive sales network, the Acerinox Group is now actively present in over 80 countries. The system created by Oppent for the plant of Los Barrios Palmones allows connection between the production area and the laboratory for the samples analysis: the cast iron samples taken from the casting, when wet and cooled, are sent from the blast furnace to the laboratory to verify compliance.
