Esselunga is one of Italy’s main retail chains. It operates through a network of 140 supermarkets and superstores in Lombardy, Tuscany, Emilia Romagna, Piedmont, Veneto and Liguria.
Since 1957, with the opening of the first Italian supermarket in Milan, the group has grown considerably and currently employs more than 20,000 employees, with a revenue amounting to € 6.9 billion and a 12% of market share.
