The system creates a quick connection between wards, operating blocks and ER on the one hand, and analysis laboratory, donation centre and pharmacy on the other. The pneumatic transport positively affects the laboratory performance due to a considerable reduction of Turn Around Time made possible by the rapid and safe handling of the samples. In fact the system enables to send up to 127 carriers per hour from the wards to the laboratory.
